Nestled in the peaceful valley of river Léguer, between the Pink Granite and Heather Coast, Lannion is the Côtes d'Armor region's secont-largest town, with a population of 19 350. At Pleumeur-Bodou, just 5 kilometers from the town, the Science Park is a french showcase for the history of telecommunications, offering a high-quality tour of its museum and other attractions. Just a few minutes from centre, strollers and walkers can take the rambling trails ; after white-water training, kayak enthusiasts can row the tides toward the castles in the Tregor areas or towards the Pink Granite Coast, whilst swimmers can head for the beaches.
